A priority list is used to establish the order of buyers, appointments to select a homesite and purchase a home at select communities. The priority list only affords you an opportunity to purchase a home, it does not guarantee you any right to do so.
Your place on the priority list is based on multiple factors, including the date and time of your submission of a completed pre-qualification application and whether you are a contingent or non-contingent customer. To be eligible to purchase a home, you need to receive a positive pre-qualification assessment letter from TRI Pointe Connect, before the date that the home or homesite is made available for sale. We make no guarantee that a particular home or homesite will be available and reserve the right to make changes to the priority list and the terms and conditions governing the same, at any time without notice.
Contingent Customer – you have a home you must sell or lease in order to buy a new home
Non-Contingent Customer – no need to sell or lease a home in order to purchase
To join the priority list for your desired community, you must first submit an online pre-qualification application with our affiliated mortgage company, TRI Pointe Connect®.
To pre-qualify with our affiliated mortgage company, TRI Pointe Connect®, please follow the simple instructions below. There is no cost to fill out a pre-qualification application and no obligation to use TRI Pointe Connect® for your new home purchase. The entire online process takes less than 10 minutes to complete:
- Go To: MaracayHomes.com/ABA
- Review the Affiliated Business Arrangement Notice.
- Click the Accept button to acknowledge that you have read and understand the disclosure. If you do not wish to make the acknowledgement, click the Decline button.
- If you click on the Accept button, your web browser will be redirected to the TRI Pointe Connect® website where you can start and complete your pre-qualification application.
- Under “Locations”, please select Maracay
- Under “Community”, please select the neighborhood where you are interested in purchasing a home.
- Please have the following information readily available to save time: Borrower Information, Income Information & Asset Information
- Submit your completed pre-qualification application.
After you complete and submit your online pre-qualification application, a TRI Pointe Connect® Loan Consultant will contact you about one week prior to the next homesite release to obtain the supporting documentation in order to issue your pre-qualification letter. Once TRI Pointe Connect® issues you a pre-qualification letter, you are ready to go! Please note that a pre-qualification letter from any other source will not be accepted.
You will still have to submit a pre-qualification application in order to become part of the priority list. Please make sure to choose the option to not pull your credit while filling out the pre-qualification application. You will be required to provide verification of funds to TRI Pointe Connect® prior to your priority list appointment.
If you have already submitted a pre-qualification application with, and received a pre-qualification letter from, our affiliated mortgage company for another community, we will not pull your credit report a second time. You will, however, need to re-submit another pre-qualification application. Please make sure to choose the option to not pull your credit while filling out the pre-qualification application.
Priority list appointments will be set by our New Home Advisors. You will be notified in advance of your upcoming priority list appointment.
Once your appointment is set, you will receive a list of the available homesites and their applicable premiums and earnest money deposit requirements.
Each release will contain a variety of homesite choices. If your desired homesite is not available during your appointment, there may be a similar homesite available to choose, or you may choose to defer to the next phase and maintain your priority status for the next release. However, there may be price increases in future releases. Base sales price and homesite premium price is only “locked in” when a floor plan and homesite are chosen and the purchase agreement is written/signed.
Your appointment time is devoted exclusively to you. You will be given an opportunity to ask our New Home Advisor any questions you may have. You will also have the opportunity to choose a homesite and floorplan and write a purchase agreement. Please note that if you choose not to purchase a home during your appointment time we are unable to reserve a homesite for you. However, you may choose to remain on the priority list and defer your purchase to a later phase at that community.
If you cannot make your appointment time, you will be given an opportunity to take the next available appointment time until priority list sales have concluded.
