The Meadows: Join Us This Weekend!Posted 09/16/2016
Spacious model homes with attached and detached accessory garages. Oversize and traditional size homesites with generous backyards for outdoor fun. A tasty barbecue lunch, and cold drinks to quench your thirst. Plus a huge, colorful mural, perfect for family photo ops. These are just a few of the attractions to see this weekend at the grand opening celebration of our newest Peoria residential community, The Meadows.
The festivities begin this Saturday, Sept. 17, with a neighborhood gathering from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition to enjoying lunch from noon to 3 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to tour the four new model homes, learn more about all of the community amenities, and mix and mingle with potential new neighbors. But that’s not all. Visitors will also get the chance to view and take photos in front of Maracay’s 125-foot-long, hand-painted mural highlighting six attributes that make Peoria such a great place to live, work and play.
In case it’s not obvious, we’re eager to share The Meadows with you for many reasons. For starters, The Meadows is situated in the fast-growing north Peoria region – one of the metro area’s most sought after destinations for its blend of year-round recreation and entertainment opportunities. Active families and weekend warriors alike flock to the area where Lake Pleasant stretches across 10,000 acres, offering an oasis of recreation activities, from wake boarding, water skiing and kayaking, to fishing, sailing and paddle boarding.
Beyond the waterfront, this part of the city boasts multiple desert parks that provide easy access to hiking trails and horseback facilities via multiuse paths that skirt the area’s regional and municipal parks. Peoria’s park system is praised for seamlessly blending the surrounding natural beauty with the city’s burgeoning urban lifestyle – which is fast-becoming a national destination for its mix of urban amenities and resort-like lifestyle. Peoria also lays claim to the Challenger Space Center, a rich cultural scene, highly rated schools and sports centers, attractive dining and retail hubs, and an emerging market of high-wage companies and major employment corridors.
The first phase of our Meadows development includes 173 traditional and oversize homesites featuring all single-story homes. The largest lots offer more than a half-acre of land, providing plenty of room for detached or attached accessory garages to accommodate boat or RV storage, more elbow room between homes, and large backyards for family fun. Eight distinct single-story floor plans range from approximately 2,500 to more than 4,500 square feet and include FlexDesign® selections for optimum customization. Luxurious options, including indoor/outdoor fireplaces, six-foot-long free-standing bath tubs, corner sliding glass doors, and more, are available, depending on the plan. The Meadows is a natural gas community, where all homes are Energy Star® certified and include Maracay Homes’ LivingSmart® program for high performance and cost efficiency.
For those who are interested in the community but can’t make it out this weekend, full interactive floor plans and details are available at www.MaracayHomes.com. Maracay is also in the process of developing a second phase at The Meadows featuring 299 additional homesites that will be available for sales in late 2017.
