Maracay Breaks Ground on Center Pointe Vistoso Model HomesPosted 10/07/2015
Nothing beats the feeling of seeing your dream home become a reality. That’s exactly how all of us at Maracay Homes felt when we officially broke ground on the Center Pointe Vistoso model homes this week. As if the momentous occasion couldn’t get any better, Oro Valley Mayor Satish Hiremath, town officials and many members of the real estate community joined us as we celebrated the milestone on Oct. 6.
Yes, our newest Tucson community is right on schedule to open in January and we couldn’t be more thrilled. So what can Arizona homebuyers expect to see at Center Pointe Vistoso?
For starters, 343 homesites will be situated within five strategically planned neighborhoods, each connected by a dynamic, multi-purpose trail system that leads to a 6,000-square-foot luxury swim complex and a large, grassy park with shaded playground equipment and picnic stations.
But, what about the homes? Glad you asked. Our home styles will feature a mix of executive, low-maintenance and family designs from Maracay’s New Arizona Living Collection, including the Monogram, Signature, Hallmark and Imperial floor plan collections. Showcasing home designs crafted to keep pace with current lifestyle trends and Arizona homebuyers’ preferences, each Center Pointe Vistoso plan includes FlexDesign® selections for optimum customization. Of course, all homes are Energy Star® certified and include Maracay Homes’ LivingSmart® program for high performance and cost efficiency.

Here’s a quick look at each of the five distinct Center Pointe Vistoso neighborhoods:
Desert Crest: Two gated entrances provide convenient access to this private neighborhood of 101 homesites, which also includes a community ramada with picnic tables, an activity lawn and a cactus garden with seating areas that invite visitors to linger and delight in the beauty of the natural desert setting. The community features eight single- and two-story floor plans from Maracay Homes’ distinctive Monogram Collection. Ranging from 1,404 to 2,492 square feet, the selection of layouts offers thoughtful design features, such as spacious great rooms for gathering, walk-in kitchen pantries for additional storage, and front courtyards for connecting with neighbors.
The Cove: Centered around a community park featuring a shaded play structure, a picnic ramada and a grassy, multi-use lawn, The Cove is a family-oriented, gated neighborhood of 81 homes designed to appeal to residents ranging from the young to the young at heart. The neighborhood’s layouts, drawn from the popular Signature Collection of home plans, range from approximately 2,217 to 3,668 square feet and offer a selection of inspired design features, such as spacious great rooms for family gatherings, walk-in kitchen pantries for additional storage and a passageway from the master closet to the laundry room for ease and accessibility.
Summit North and South: These two intimate gated neighborhoods, and their Hallmark Collection floor plan designs, feature single-story layouts, exclusively, ranging from approximately 2,494 to 3,194 square feet, and showcase inspired designs intended to appeal to everyone from maturing families to empty nesters. Spacious great rooms encourage family gatherings, walk-in kitchen pantries accommodate additional storage and generation suites or casitas provide privacy for visitors or multiple generations living in one location. Summit South, a 39-home neighborhood, is the first of the two to open. Summit North, with 47 homes, is expected to follow.
The Pinnacle: This gated community features single-story only, executive-size floor plans for those seeking the ultimate in comfort and accommodation. Limited to 75 homesites, the upscale neighborhood is characterized by a colorful butterfly garden observation park. The Pinnacle showcases spacious home plans from the popular Imperial and Hallmark Collections. Ranging from approximately 2,710 to 3,580 square feet, each plan offers thoughtful design features, such as front courtyards that create a welcoming approach, spacious great rooms for gathering with family and friends, and walk-in kitchen pantries for extra storage.
