Apache Junction/Gold Canyon

Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center
Get ready for the season’s upcoming pool parties with this event. The Superstition Mountain Fire and Medical District, A.J. Parks Recreation and local police department teamed up to hold this annual water safety event for the community. The whole family can enjoy the various activities that include home pool safety for parents, mini swim lessons, swim skill evaluations, raffles and more. Paint-N- Pour

Windmill Winery
If you enjoy art and wine, then this is the perfect event for you. Instructors from Paint-N-Pour will help instruct you through painting your own masterpiece while you enjoy a glass of your favorite wine. Bike Buckeye

Skyline Regional Park
Enjoy the beautiful Arizona weather and outdoors by learning the sport of mountain biking! A limited number of bikes are available for the clinic or you can bring your own mountain bike to learn proper trail riding techniques. Topics of instruction will include bike and body position, braking, shifting, cornering, trail etiquette and descending. Clinics begin at 9:15 a.m. Learn more about the event here.

19th Annual Chandler Jazz Festival
April 6-7
Dr. A.J. Chandler Park – Stage Plaza
The Chandler Jazz Festival is a great way to get to know Chandler and the downtown area. Enjoy a variety of jazz bands and artists at the park and other outdoor venues while also visiting the galleries, restaurants and shops that make the city so great. Gilbert Global Village Festival
April 14
Gilbert Civic Center North Campus
Gilbert’s Global Village Festival is a multicultural celebration for the whole family to enjoy. The festival brings people of various cultures and tradition together as a way to learn more about different customs from around the world. Guests will enjoy traditional and contemporary forms of dance, music, children’s activities, arts and crafts and a variety of foods. Goodyear Skate Park
Skateboarders of all ages and skill levels are welcome to participate in a fun-filled day of skating at Goodyear Skate Park. The free festival will include a “best trick” contest and demonstrations from professional and semi-pro skateboarders. There will also be raffles, food and other vendors for visitors to enjoy. Peoria Arts & Cultural Festival 
April 7
Old Town Peoria, Peoria and Grand Avenues
Learn and enjoy the various arts and cultural history from around Peoria during this April festival. Venues like the Peoria Historical museum and local performing arts center will be open and showcasing various performers. Children from around the area will perform dances and theater acts. You and your family can enjoy the kid’s zone, watch a pottery demonstration or take a family bike and wagon ride throughout the festival. Phoenix Film Festival
Harkins Scottsdale/101 Theatre
April 5-15
This festival is perfect for any film enthusiast as it will showcase more than 175 films. Every day will feature different films from a variety of categories that include shorts, documentaries, horror and other genres. Pima County Fair
April 19-29
Pima County Fairgrounds
