Fall in Arizona is always an amazing time of the year. With festivals, cooler weather, endless activities and more, there’s hardly any excuse to stay indoors in October. So get your pumpkins and costumes ready, and enjoy some of these fun fall activities across Phoenix and Tucson.

Goodyear
Rio Paseo Neighborhood Gathering
Saturday, October 7
Celebrate the opening of Maracay Homes’ new Goodyear community, Cottages at Rio Paseo. Stop on by from noon to 3 p.m. to enjoy delicious hamburgers and hotdogs, cool down with some creamy gelato, and take a tour of our brand new model homes.

Taste of Gilbert

Come hungry and be ready to taste your way through Gilbert with a variety of local eateries serving up an abundance of delicious eats, tasty treats and marketplace items to take home. The event will also include local business vendors, a live music stage, arts and crafts, and giveaways from noon to 6 p.m.

Off the Street Art and Music Festival
Saturday and Sunday, October 27-28
Watch Gilbert’s downtown Heritage District come alive with two stages of live music, street performers, kids activities, food trucks and craft vendors.  Plus, watch as chalk artists make colorful and exciting chalk murals.

Mesa
Paisley Pumpkin Holiday Festival
Saturday, October 28
Mesa’s annual Holiday Festival at Dana Park Village will feature 40+ local vendors, plus delicious food, games and more.

Trick or Treat on Main Street
Tuesday, October 31
Trick-or-treating on Main Street will be the place to be this Halloween. Kids can visit participating businesses for candy or a surprise treat, plus face painting, balloon artists and a photo booth.

Peoria
Halloween Monster Bash
Saturday, October 28
Dress in your Halloween best and head to Peoria Sports Complex, where trick-or-treaters can experience interactive and carnival games, inflatables, crafts, a rock wall and live entertainment.

Chandler
Mayor’s Day of Play
Saturday, October 21
Tumbleweed Park will turn into a playground for all from 8 a.m. to noon, where families can enjoy free fun with life-size board games, sporty inflatables and interactive activities.

Halloween Spooktacular
Ready for a spooky good time? Visit Halloween Spooktacular in Downtown Chandler for a haunted house, games, arts & crafts, costume contests and more.

Trick ‘R Treat Halloween Spooktacular
Monday, October 30
Bring the whole family down to the University of Phoenix Southern Arizona Campus
for an all-ages trick-or-treating experience that will feature completely free Spooktacular attractions, including a craft station, games, giveaways, a photo booth and more.
