Get to Know Deseo with Our New Home Advisors.Posted 04/24/2019
Introducing Deseo, our newest Peoria community opening on Saturday, April 27. Surrounded by the beautiful, natural desert landscape of Peoria, Deseo offers residents direct access to the 13-mile New River Trail that connects Peoria and Glendale, and is carefully crafted with walking paths, community firepits and multiple cul-de-sacs – all of which encourage neighborly interaction and play.
To help get acquainted with this new neighborhood, we sat down with our New Home Advisors Nicole and Cindy to learn more about the exciting things happening at Deseo.
What are you most excited about for the opening of Deseo?
What excites me most about the opening of Deseo is that we can offer people homes and options that they may otherwise need to spend much of their free time researching. It takes the burden of finding a builder and creating a custom home off the home shopper’s shoulders, saving them a tremendous amount of time and stress. Features like attached and detached RV garages, detached casitas, and our Flex Design® options that answer to specific needs such as a Generation Suite within the home and storage for recreational and motorized toys.
Can you describe what it feels like to be a part of this intimate community?
Deseo has a real “I’m home,” cozy feel to it. Close enough to everyday conveniences and freeways, but nicely tucked away within the natural desert beauty that the north Peoria area has to offer. The community’s open, airy floor plans combined with a fun outdoor environment that offers easy access to trails and nearby Lake Pleasant makes this community one of the best places to call home.
What features will people love about the homes at Deseo?
Residents will love the oversized garage spaces, estate-sized homesites and spacious floor plans that have been carefully crafted for entertaining family and friends. And of course, the Flex Design® features that really allow residents to make their house a home.
What’s the best part about the Deseo lifestyle?
The best part about the Deseo lifestyle is having the perfect mix of city living and outdoor adventure right at your fingertips. Living at Deseo, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful, natural desert landscape but also have access to a great selection of highly-rated schools and be close to three major freeways, shopping, restaurants, sports complexes, fantastic hiking trails and Lake Pleasant.
How do you help prospective home shoppers find a home that’s tailored to their lifestyle?
We like to find out what season of life they’re in and ask questions about their lifestyle. It’s important to understand what their life looks like to help tailor their home to their individual needs. By finding out what they’re looking for in a home, who is living in the home, what their hobbies are and what their daily routine is, it helps narrow down the best floor plan and options for their current lifestyle.
What would typical weekend activities look like for someone who lives at Deseo and is interested in exploring the outdoors?
Weekends at Deseo might include hiking or biking on the nearby trails. Or perhaps taking the toys that are safely stored inside your big, beautiful RV garage out for spin! Or taking a trip to Lake Pleasant for fishing and jet skiing—be sure to have a delicious lunch at Dillon’s Bayou at Pleasant Harbor afterward! Or taking a short drive to the Rio Vista Recreational Center if you’re looking for family fun activities.
What would a Saturday night look like in Peoria?
A Saturday night in Peoria may start out with a movie at Arrowhead Mall or a play at the Broadway Theatre. After, grab a bite to eat at one of the many nearby restaurants or sit around the community firepit to catch up with family and friends. Deseo also places residents close to State Farm Stadium and Gila River Arena in Glendale where they can catch a concert or sporting event.
What aspect of the Deseo community do you think residents will enjoy most?
We hope what residents will enjoy most about Deseo is their neighbors and a true sense of community as well as the satisfaction of finding a place where city life, outdoor adventure and home all meet.
