When July swings around each year, we can practically hear the fireworks and music starting in the distance. Temps may be on the rise, but so is the excitement and anticipation for annual festivities for the Fourth of July in Phoenix and Tucson!
Whether you’re new to the neighborhood, looking to take the kids for some outdoor fun, or just tired of the same-old potato salad party, there is an abundance of patriotic, family-fun waiting for you and your loved ones to enjoy around your Maracay Homes community:
Peoria All American Festival for July 4th
5 p.m.-10 p.m. Friday, July 4
Peoria Sports Complex
16101 N. 83rd Ave. Peoria
Peoria’s All American Festival for July 4th will be music to your ears, literally. With multiple stages spotlighting various genres of music from country, rock, blues and Radio Disney for the little ones, your feet will be tapping all night long! Other fun festivities include hot dog eating contest, water zone, and fabulous fireworks display. Parking is free. Admission is $5 for adults, free for kids 12 and under.
Chandler’s 4th of July Fireworks Celebration
4 p.m.-10:30 p.m. Friday, July 4
2250 S. McQueen Road, Chandler
Grab your bikes and trikes for Chandler’s Cactus Bike Push, Pull, and Peddle Bike Parade starting at 6 p.m. at Tumbleweed Park. Afterward, enjoy live music, kids’ games and a spectacular fireworks show starting at 9:30 p.m. Parking is $5 per vehicle. Chandler Cactus Bike asks that you register for the free parade at 5 p.m. that day.
July 4th Celebration in Oro Valley
5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, July 4
James D. Kriegh Park
23 W. Calle Concordia, Oro Valley
Live entertainment, food trucks and fireworks, oh my! Oro Valley is hosting a day of family-fun, activities and water games at James D. Kriegh Park, with fireworks from the Hilton El Conquistador starting at 9 p.m. Admission is free. Click here for more info.
4th of July At Schnepf Farms
6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday, July 4
24810 S. Rittenhouse Road, Queen Creek
Bring the family (and your picnic basket) to Schnepf Farms’ Fourth of July celebration. Starting at 6 p.m., families can delight in free kids’ games, watermelon-seed spitting contest, raffles and more, with food trucks on site as well. The “firework extravaganza” will begin at approximately 9 p.m. Admission is $10 per carload, or $10 cans of food (donated to local food banks).
Litchfield Park 4th of July Splash Bash
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, July 4
Litchfield Park Pool
100 S. Old Litchfield Rd. Litchfield Park
Cool off and splash around at Litchfield Park’s pool party, “Splash Bash,” hosted by the Wigwam Resort. There will be plenty of festive fun for the whole family including DJ, swimming and games and food. $2 per person or Recreation Center pass.
Great American Celebration at the Wigwam
6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 4
Patriot Course #1 Fairway
From 6-9 p.m., after you’re done splashing around at the Litchfield Park Pool, Wigwam Resort is hosting its annual Fourth of July celebration with DJ, dance party and fireworks on the Patriot Course Fairway! Admission is free, kid zone with water slide, inflatable rides and more: $8 per person, $7 with military ID. Click here for more info.
