Tan Dun: Crouching Tiger Concerto
Symphony Hall
Chinese conductor En Shao makes his Phoenix Symphony debut conducting the music from the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon by composer Tan Dun. The concerto, drawn from the epic score, features Betti Xiang performing on the Chinese erhu, a traditional stringed instrument found in Chinese orchestras.
